Peter Pan Shoot - part 2

"To die would be an awfully big adventure"

Here in part 2 of the Peter Pan inspired shoot from the summer we have the Lost Boys and Captain Hook.  These scenes were such fun to shoot - the tee-pee,  children dressed as orphans and the lovely accessories which give the images that finishing touch.  So many favourites to pick from - see which are yours!

Bridal Shoot at glorious wedding venue Kingston Bagpuize House, Oxfordshire

If you are planning a country wedding then Kingston Bagpuize House should certainly be on your list of venues to check out.
Last year I was part of a bridal shoot held at this lovely country home to capture some images for their new wedding brochure.  We had a lovely day and a fabulous student-turned-model for the day who did an amazing job in front of the lens.   Sue Lund of Cariad Bride, Faringdon supplied the fabulous wedding dress and these gorgeous bouquets were by Debbie and Holly at Thanks a Bunch florist, also in Faringdon.  I'm happy to say many of these images now feature in the Kingston Bagpuize House wedding brochure.  Here are some of the great images from the day.

Folio Wedding Albums

Following a recent enquiry about my wedding albums I thought I would share how gorgeous these Folio Fine Art Albums are with everyone!     Only available through your professional photographer they are perfect for the bride and groom looking for a Fine Art Wedding album which will stand apart from other albums on the market. They also work great as portrait albums for family lifestyle shoots or birthday party celebrations etc.

Each album is a bespoke design by me which then is lovingly handmade into a high quality album by those clever people at Folio Albums - it takes a little longer than the manufactured albums but definitely worth the wait.   They come with a leather cover in a choice of colours and each image is printed on fine art paper providing high resolution with a pure clarity that lasts.   And because Folio are using sustainable resources together with eco packaging and carbon neutral shipping you can feel good about the environment too!

They are available in 8x8", 10x10" and 12x12" sizes as well as a 6x6" which is perfect for parent albums.  Each album has a standard 15 spreads (30 pages) which can be increased to a maximum of 40 spreads (80 pages) so plenty of room to include all those images you want to keep.  Each spread lays flat as you view the album and can be printed across the crease without any ink cracking or discolouration. Christmas Portrait Day - free mini shoot




Free Mini-Shoots - you just pay for your images!

For those of you still in need of a Christmas gift for family and loved ones, here is the perfect present! A gorgeous countryside portrait of your family or children.  I am kicking off this new occasional series of country mini shoots with a Christmas Portrait Day on Sunday November 25th.  These sessions are free and give you a taster of my full lifestyle session.

This is an opportunity to get a lovely natural portrait of your children or family set in a rural location.  The shoot lasts 30 mins and is completely free (lifestyle sessions normally start at £90) and will be at a woodland location taking advantage of the beautiful autumn colours at this time of year. You will have a password protected gallery with up to 10 images to select from.

STEAM Vintage Wedding Fayre Feb 2013

I'm happy to confirm that I will be exhibiting at the STEAM Vintage Wedding Fayre next year.  Put February 10th 2013 in your diaries now as it promises to be a great regional show for brides-to-be.

Peter Pan Styled Shoot....part 1

Ever since I was a small child I was fascinated by Peter Pan and Wendy and their adventures in Neverland.  So it was with great delight that I took up a chance of a Peter Pan photo shoot organised by  Melissa Love and Jayne Sacco, the team behind Styled Shoots.  The venue was a gorgeous East Sussex farm which provided a great backdrop and some wonderful styling by Hannah Best provided the added inspiration for our photographs. The shoot took part over 3 scenes - here in part one is the Wendy House....
