Friday Foto - Why I love this image

One of the important tasks while photographing a wedding is to capture the key moments from the day - the ones that tell the story but are likely to be missed by friends and family who are not aware of these moments as they are happening but are overjoyed to see them later as part of the wedding day story.  Its the documentary photographer's job to capture these images.

This image of the Groom and his father was taken outside the church just before they went inside.  I love this moment as its a happy, relaxed image of father and son - totally natural and undirected.  The only key that the ceremony has yet to come is the groom is holding his ring finger in anticipation.

If your planning your wedding or just engaged and already thinking about your photography as an important part of your day do get in touch as I'd love to discuss more about my wedding services with you.  All packages come with a complimentary engagement session which includes a printed 8x6" photograph.  More information about my packages and further examples of work can be viewed online.
